Liked Tidy site, back to basics, a lot of other campers thought the same, a lot were repeat campers. Toilets and showers were immaculate, site warden Mark induced himself and made himself visible.,Choose your own pitch which we like, all together a lovely experience. A bridle way takes you into Stockbridge without being near traffic

Liked Clean toilet/shower facilities. Friendly staff, overall very family friendly. Good washing up facilities, freezer for ice packs and ability to charge phones and battery packs (at owners risk). Would definitely go again.

Disliked Would benefit from a checking in facility. Had one guy try and get the code to enter from other campers and get stressy with people when refused.
Whilst there is plenty of room to camp, was very surprised that the field was a lot smaller than the pictures made it look.

Liked Loved our short stay at Stockbridge View. Extremely good value with great facilities. So nice to be able to have fire pits on the site. Site management very friendly. Sadly we ended up curtailing our visit due to the weather ☔ but we will be back!! ☺️

Liked Lovely little campsite, plenty of space with little light pollution. The owners are very friendly and often came past to check up and say hi. As for the facilities, they are top notch for a campsite.

Disliked There is an option to purchase firewood from the campsite, however for £10 all we received was a bag of 8 logs that weren’t even dry!

Liked All of it. The open field. The clean and tidy bathroom/shower areas. The cute washing up area with chargers! The ease in which to get assistance should we need it. All the campers were lovely campers.

Disliked Nothing at all. 2nd time camping there and still nothing to dislike.

The grounds at Mottisfont (15 minutes), a National Trust-managed house and garden, may be a bit grander in scale, but they're in a relaxed country location and aren't too big for a day out with young kids. This part of the world has lots of military connections, so how about a trip to the Army Flying Museum (10 minutes), or to Winchester (20 minutes) and its regimental collections in Peninsula Square? Inspired to try a bit of target practice yourself? The Spitfire Shoot (five minutes) can sort you with clay pigeon sessions (mostly on Saturdays, but sometimes at other times too). A little bit further away there are world-class attractions like Stonehenge (25 minutes), a must-see when visiting this part of the world, as well as family-focused options like Paultons Park (30 minutes), a theme park, and the interactive exhibits at Milestones Museum in Basingstoke (30 minutes).
