Worst one we stayed so far!
Non-electric grass and earth campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Closeness to the cliff top and walking distance to Milford and it's quaint little shops as well as Hurst Castle and Lymington.
Disliked Goodness where to start! Too many bookings are taken for the space, so it's like sitting in a tin of sardines with your neighbours. Doesnt scream relaxation or privacy at all. Next to us was a group of 3 families all bunched together and we counted 13 of them in total, needless to say it was extremely loud at all hours of the day. First night there was a very strong smell of weed around the campsite, resulting in getting an awful headach and was unable to sleep. Second night a car alarm went off 3 times in a row, resulting in another night of no sleep. Gents toilets are so grim my husband turnd right back out and straight up refused to use them. No handsoap either, luckily we had our own! Women's were only marginally better despite some of the residents leaving their hygiene articles everywhere and their remnants of their "days" on the toilet seats. Showers were running more cold than warm. One evening I stood there for 10 minutes trying the switch off and on method as per their instructions to getting any warm water at all. Warm is a bit of a stretch too, it's more lukewarm. If you can stay elsewhere I would suggest you do. For the price tag it's one of the more expensive ones we stayed at and you would expect it to be clean and imaculate. I wouldnt recommend it nor would I return.

From the manager: We’re sorry to hear that your stay didn’t meet your expectations, though we strongly disagree with much of what you’ve written.
Our pop-up campsite operates under a 28-day license with fully temporary facilities - something clearly stated in our listing. These are dismantled completely outside of the operating window. While basic by necessity, they are maintained to a high standard throughout the season. Many guests appreciate the simplicity and rural charm of the site (and the actual flushing toilets) – as reflected in reviews from the same weekend.
The site is by no stretch of the imagination overbooked. We allow small family groups to pitch up together (up to 8 adults and 8 children), but guests are free to choose their own space. Given that you were in a tent box on a car, you had the flexibility to pitch well away from any groups – and many campers did.
We had no other complaints about noise or disturbance during your stay. When you mentioned a smell of “weed”, my husband, who was on site at the time, checked immediately. The only scent he could detect was wood smoke from the campfires – something expected at a rural, fire-friendly campsite.
Our facilities are cleaned regularly, and we provide hand soap, toilet paper and hand towels in all the facilities. You spoke to me about the shower and I immediately checked them – 2 were not is use so I was able to see for myself that they were hot and I asked the people in the other showers at the time and they reported that they were lovely and hot. Again, nobody else reported any problems during the time that you were staying with us, indeed we receive many compliments about the showers.
We are also transparent about our pricing. The rate reflects not just the facilities but the location, setting and the experience – and they remain competitive for the area. Unlike many other campsites we do not charge any extras for extra tents, gazebo, cars or dogs. The £18 a night you paid per person is less that a burger in most restaurants.
We take genuine concerns seriously. But we also stand by our team, our guests, and the standards we uphold. We wish you the best in finding a site more suitable that more closely matches your expectations.
Pretty much everything you need a campsite to be

Liked Loads of space to pitch, Friendly welcome, excellent base to go off and do your thing.
Disliked Gents WC perhaps could do with being renovated/replaced, maybe one more sink for washing up as this was the only thing I had to queue for

Liked Site was well run. Friendly staff. Safe dog waking area. Showers and toilets kept clean. Not easy when so many people staying. But achieved.
Plenty of room on site. Buses 5 mins walk way taking people all over local area. I never moved my vehicle whole stay. Villages local enough to walk. Or get buses. So peaceful.
Disliked Nothing to dislike.
