Add your business detailsDownton Holiday Park is an independently run caravan park on the outskirts of the New Forest. We are within walking distance of the local beaches, the village of Milford-on-Sea and within a short drive to Bournemouth.
Amenities include a modern laundry facility, children's play park and indoor games room.
Located approximately 15 miles from Junction 1 of the M27, we are ideally situated for many holidays. Access is also available from the nearby train station in New Milton which is on the main London to Waterloo Line.

Route directions
By road, leave the M27 at Junction 1 and follow the A337 to Lyndhurst. Keeping on the A337, drive through Brockenhurst and Lymington and on to Downton. At The Royal Oak pub, which will be on your left, turn left into Downton Lane. After 800 yards, turn left into Shorefield Road and we are located immediately on the left.
Alternative routes avoiding Lyndhurst are through Burley or Ringwood from the A31.
The nearest train station is New Milton, on the main Waterloo to Weymouth via Bournemouth line. Taxis are available at the train station or you can take bus number X1 along Milford Road to the Downton Lane junction. It is then a 50 yard walk along Downton Lane to get to us.
