What customers say
This is a very well-maintained campsite with friendly, helpful staff. Guests praise the excellent location on the creek, with easy access for water sports and pleasant walks. Facilities are generally clean, though some mention the male toilets and showers are dated and in need of an upgrade. The on-site bar/restaurant and visiting food vans are popular. Pitches are generally level and well-spaced. Many guests expressed a desire to return.

Lovely location, clean and friendly.
Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Facilities were very clean and spacious. Didn't use the showers but made use of the onsite restaurant. Pitch was spacious with EHU.
Disliked Could do with grey waste disposal on exit rather than having to drive round the site back to the entry point.

Not for us
Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Reasonably sized pitches. Nice welcome. The groundsman was working really hard to maintain the pitches, despite the heavy rain.
Disliked There is no delineation between the pitches in the middle and - because everyone is in rows facing the water - it feels like you are in a goldfish bowl. Other sites have landscaped pitches into curves and cul-de-sacs, with hedges etc between them so that it feels more private. The showers were OK, but there was a storm when we visited and the door to the ladies toilet block doesn't close, so it was freezing. It wasn't helped by the velux window being wide open too. I understand you need ventilation, but each cubicle seemed to have an extractor. The timing on the shower seemed unnecessarily short - about 10 seconds per cycle. Given that the average shower is 4 minutes this became tedious and all these issues just made showering an uncomfortable experience.
