Great for families
Electric grass pitch
Liked Fantastic site that is perfect for families. We had a 5 year old and a 2 year old and there was so much for them to do. They especially loved the rides around the site - and so did we! Toilets and showers are lovely and clean. I don't think I saw a piece of litter all weekend. Even with all the rain we had the site didn't get muddy. Thank you so much.
Disliked Nothing - even the hills were a long overdue workout 😀

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The baby wallabies popping their little heads out mum's pouch was beyond cute. My favourite thing is emi the emu, being up close and her loving a head scratch melts my heart. Love Ruth's kindness for helping me out plus Alan for being fun with the kids. We even loved getting freezing feet in the stream and nearly loosing our shoes!!
Disliked Cold shower due to alot of use in short space of time but resolved after half hour.

Absolutely fantastic, particularly for under 11s.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked All of the things to do onsite for children are fantastic, very safe and open, the roaming alpacas, different areas to pitch etc - loved all of it. Owners are such lovely and welcoming people too.
Disliked A couple more toilets would have been nice - did get a queue sometimes.

Great campsite with lots to do for the kids!
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Great sizes campsite and not overcrowded at all considering it was August! Lots of fun activities for the kids, who particularly loved the tractor rides, archery and saying good morning to the alpacas. Fab views of the sun setting in the evening too. Facilities clean and tidy,.also spacious for families. We would love to return and stay for longer next time!
Disliked We had no hot water during our 3 night stay, we tried at different times and still no luck. When raising the issue with the owners I got the impression they were aware that this was an ongoing problem, with intermittent hot water. Unfortunately we had children with us so this more of an issue for them than us adults. We even tried late at night gone 9pm when the shower rooms were dry and avoided peak time, but we still couldn't have a proper wash.
We had a very noisy large family nearby who kept noise levels extremely high up until midnight, not the owners fault at all as they couldn't hear it from indoors but we did report it as it kept us all up until later than planned.
