Liked: It is a beautiful site and Carol communicated really well about check in and the site. The site was peaceful and there is lots of space. Facilities are basic but fine.
Disliked: The bottom field is lovely but once it rained it is hard to drive out of.

From the manager: It is a shame that Paula has said it was difficult to drive out of the bottom field. That is certainly not the case normally. Sadly we have all had the wettest winter on record and it did not rain over the bank holiday Saturday, which was a beautiful day but there were torrential downpours on the Sunday and Monday which made, softish ground, very soft. Paula has said she will visit again so it could not have been all that bad and we look forward to seeing her again .

Liked: Everything was worth a 10! 👌🏻Carol was lovely and helpfull and the campsite was beautiful with all the animals and stunning views. There also was a fresh kitchen, two toilets and two showers. The funny campsite animals . The enthousiastic dog, the guard geese and Blossom the cute pig made the stay complete. We really enjoyed our stay and recomment it to everybody.
Disliked: The Wifi was a bit weak.

Liked: What a lovely few days at Sheherazade! Carol was welcoming and so were the geese, hens, Amber the dog and (my favourite) Blossom the pig. Great location for walks and pub stops. Fresh eggs, sausages and jams are a must from Carol’s stock. Facilities were more than sufficient. We stayed in the top field as needed electric hook up, but I had a stroll down to the lower field pitches by the lake and they looked super if you don’t mind off grid.

Liked: Lovely lake side pitches. A peaceful rural wild camping site set beside the orchard.
Disliked: A two field walk up to the showers and mains toilet which which our little one opted for over the portaloo in the bottom field.

From the manager: Wow. I don't think I should be penalised because Abby was sent full details of the campsite and the fact that the facilities were in the top field but that there were portaloos by the lake in the bottom filed. Sadly, if the email I sent out with full details and instructions were ignored, it is difficult to say that this complaint should be upheld. Nobody else on this very busy weekend had a problem. Exercise is good for you!!!!!
