What customers say
Hale Farm is a highly recommended, well-maintained campsite with spacious pitches, each featuring a fire pit. Visitors praise the clean facilities, including hot showers and toilets, and the friendly, helpful owners who offer farm produce and firewood for sale. The on-site farm animals are a hit with children. The location offers easy access to local walks and pubs. Some guests noted limited mobile signal and a desire for more flushable toilets during peak times.

We had such a wonderful weekend…
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked We had such a wonderful weekend at Hale Farm—it was our first-ever camping trip as a family, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The facilities were clean and well-maintained, which made everything feel easy and comfortable. The location itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and plenty of space to relax and explore.
We especially loved wandering around the farm and meeting the animals- such a fun experience for the kids (and us adults too!). One of the highlights was picking up fresh produce each evening; it made our BBQ dinners and breakfasts in the morning feel extra special.
A big bonus? The coffee van each morning-such a treat to start the day with a proper cup of coffee while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. And we also loved the short scenic walk through the fields to Gun Tap Brewery, great chilled atmosphere and even better beer and the pizza truck was fab too.
All in all, Hale Farm made our first camping trip feel like a real adventure, and we’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend!
