Liked The site is very pretty, secluded yet only a 15 minute walk to the train station. We enjoyed waking up next to a field with deer running free. Friendly staff and good facilities.
Disliked Some very noisy guys very late at night. They left the Gents in an unpleasant state the next morning.

Nice campsite but user caution advised.
Non-electric grass and earth tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch (wild)
Liked The area is beautiful, the facilities were good, nice hot showers and good space to get changed. The pizza in the evenings (weekend) and the breakfast butties were genuinely delicious.
Disliked It might be different in summer holidays but there are a lot of adult large group
Bookings. It got pretty rowdy and some of the groups were aggressive, shouting and roaming around in the small hours. Maybe not one for solo female travelling. We camp a lot and this felt out of the ordinary but I appreciate you can’t check who’s booking in.

Was a nice size field, friendly staff, good facilities.
Non-electric grass and earth tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch (wild)
Liked Friendliness of staff and guys in the pizza shop. Toilet block was good (little squishy for a bigger person) but fully stocked. Would definitely be back during nicer weather as due to the storm we left early after just 1 night. Was looking forward to trying the pizza but will have to next time I come!

Liked Brilliant little camp site. Lovely food van with very friendly chaps running it. Even though it rained torrentially all night the site didn’t get too muddy. 15 mins to Eastbourne.
