Electric gravel touring pitch (large)
Liked: The fact they had a pool The exit
Disliked: No shop on site No food available on site (other than a food van on a Monday) Pitch sizes were awful and unkempt (it was as though routers were an afterthought and they found a bit of I'll fitting space to put us) Very loud obnoxious families

Electric gravel touring pitch (XL)
Liked: The receptionist was welcoming.
Disliked: It is certainly not 4 star. The gravel pitches had not been maintained - weeds, overgrown hedges and rubbish on the pitches (which we had to clear). Certainly no views of Beacon Fell!! Permanent, occupied and unoccupied caravans/awnings unattractive. Shocking prices for such neglected pitches. Toilet facilities available are very tired, albeit clean. No evidence of being able to recycle waste, only general waste biffa bins evident. Barrier key pads didn't always work first time and numbers barely visible. No external lighting.

Liked: Views. Nice bar area. Close to town centre which we walked to in about 20mins. It had nice selection of restaurants and takeaways.
Disliked: Run down. No care of grounds. Playground in state of disrepair. Bathrooms not cleaned during stay. Arcade machines out of order and poor selection. Booked a large pitch but wouldn't say it was large. Quiet time not enforced, so kids out till near midnight and people outside vans till 230. Some amenities on website not available on site.

Liked: The way out
Disliked: By far the worst site I have booked. We were given pitch 9 and could not find it due to weeds growing, were given the one next to it, very badly maintained damaged fences, weeds on the pitches and ehu boxes poorly maintained and a 400volt box open. The whole park is run down including the static area. Paid £45, we should have been given £45 to stay there. Will not be back.
