Liked The views was class, there was toilets and showers close by, kids play area was good, fire off the ground was good

Liked Loved the views and the showers. Nice calm campsite well maintained by the scouting association. Near to shops and everything but you felt like you was on the top of the world.
Disliked Just could have done with a quick wizz through with a mop in the bsthroom areas...if id had the equiptment i would have done it....x

Liked Great spot loads of choice of pitch locations. New toilets much cleaner and added shower block. Kids loved the play area. Loads of decent walks surrounding you.
Disliked Still not been refunded for previous cancelled stay! Wood is expensive for the amount you get. It’s expensive to stay now, same cost as other sites with much better facilities, used to be a bargain, I know tue facilities and site is being improved all the time but the prices are high especially with kids.

Disliked Got there we was put on the worst part of field most of tent pegs was bent as there was bricks underneath after putting up tent we was told we could of gone to a better part and we was told we could not have fires due to dovestones which we understood about but the rest of the pitchers still proceeded to have a fire dont know if it was us only told not sure but out of respect we didnt. We went for a walk with dog as it was his first time camping came back and someone's dog had a poo near our tent we was gone over a hour no one cleaned it either about 9ish we ended up packed up and lefted all could smell is the dog poo and dog wasn't settling.

Liked Brilliant campsite clean shower and toilet facilities enough safe space for the children to roam and amazing views of the sunrise and set .
Disliked Flying ants swarming us on the last day . Make sure you check the breeding season day if going in August
Think it can work out pricey especially if you wanted longer than a weekend and have a larger family like mine would be great if it was a price per head as I think the adult price is high for camping
