Riverside Holiday Park is a peaceful touring park on the banks of the river Lune, just over a mile from the centre of Lancaster and two miles from the beach at Morecambe.
Surrounded by farmland and bordered by the river, there's a relaxed rural atmosphere here, although you're actually quite well connected. The site is just a couple of minutes' drive from the A683, and it's less than a mile from a couple of supermarkets.
For eating out, the nearest pub is not only within easy ambling distance, but can be seen from the grounds and – bonus – Riverside's own private gate to the inn is within yards of anywhere on the park. A range of restaurants are in Morecambe and Lancaster too; if you'd like to work up a bit of an appetite, you can walk to Lancaster on a riverside path.
The site has its own bar, as well as modern amenities including a toilet block with showers and disabled access.
