  • Cosy off-grid camping pod with views of Pendle Hill in Lancashire
  • A 20-minute drive to Skipton and half an hour to Malham Cove
  • Off-grid horsebox kitchen, wet room and solar-powered lighting
If you’re dreaming of peaceful, off-grid rural surroundings, spectacular views of Lancashire and some pretty special sunsets to boot, then Little Middop Camping Pods near Gisburne may just be the place for you, looking straight onto Pendle Hill and fell country. With a camping pod sleeping up to four adults in double bunk beds, a cosy seating area, solar-powered lighting and phone charging point, you certainly don’t have to forego home comforts to enjoy a spot of off-grid glamping in these parts. The site owners know which amenities are important to their guests, and that’s why they have a fully kitted-out wet room for your exclusive use. Situated about 100 metres from the pod (make sure you say ‘hi’ to the chickens on your way past), it has an electric power shower, underfloor heating, toilet and sink. Situated in the same field as the pod is the converted horsebox kitchen, with off-grid cooking facilities including a gas hob with grill, stove-top kettle, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils, as well as a welcome pack of a few basics. There is no water connected in the kitchen, so water is provided via a fresh tank and foot-operated pump. Locally there is a village pub, farm shop, restaurants, delicatessen and petrol station (all about five minutes by car).

Liked: Camping pod was so cosy! Loved the fact there was a proper bathroom on site. The horse box kitchen was fab too! The owners were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us! The views are stunning and the kids love feeding the chickens too! Already booked to stay again!
