What customers say
This campsite offers a great location, moments from the beach, with friendly and helpful staff. Visitors praise the clean, modern toilet and shower facilities, with many highlighting the individual wet rooms. The on-site cafe and ice cream parlour are popular additions. The site is generally quiet and well-maintained, offering spacious pitches and ideal dog walking routes. Some guests experienced issues with pitch drainage and noted the remote location with limited local amenities, though the proximity to the beach and nature reserve is a key draw for many.

We had an amazing stay at…
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked We had an amazing stay at Harbour Lights Campsite and honestly didn’t want to leave! The site is spotless, really well maintained, and the pitches are spacious with lovely views all around. The atmosphere was so relaxed and friendly, perfect for a weekend away in the caravan/motorhome.
The beach access was fantastic and only around 100 yards from the campsite, which made it perfect for walks and relaxing by the sea. The pub nearby was amazing with great food and such a welcoming atmosphere, and we loved that dogs were allowed too. Willow had the best time!

Shame about the loud burger van generator running all day
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Met by friendly man when booking in, toilet shower sink combo rooms nice and warm and kept clean twice a day, very short walk to sandy beach laterally just over the road, shy bar just around the corner with bay views. To the others idea distant views of the mountains.
Disliked A ladt parks up just the otherside of the hedge in a burger van every day with a VERY loud generator running all day, so no peace and quiet, no wardens seem to be around to enforce 10.00pm noise curfew, haverigg is not really worth walking to except for bettys beach cafe and the fish and chip shop. Both take cash only.
Sea is a LONG way out most of the time

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Great site, nice spacious pitches.
Very friendly owners especially Wendy who booked us in on arrival. Wendy gave us lots of information about the site and surrounding areas, she even lent me towels as I forgot mine, really thankful for that. Lovely showers/toilets and plenty of bins. Homemade ice cream and coffees onsite
Will definitely be back.

New favourite place
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Fantastic shower/ toilet facilities (wet rooms with toilet and ample hanging space).
Dog friendly.
Superb icecream on site (probs the best I’ve had).
10min walk to Haverigg beach. Keep walking another 20mins and you come across the most beautiful open stretch of beach which is perfect for dogs.
5 min walk from village. There’s a Londis there if you’re short on supplies. Couple of pubs but we personally preferred the Ski Bar next to the site.
Very friendly owner.
Chilled camping vibe.
Really couldn’t fault it - new favourite place.
Disliked That we couldn’t stay longer.
