What customers say
This campsite offers a peaceful farm setting with a convenient location near the M6 and Penrith, making it a great base for exploring the Lake District. Pitches are reportedly spacious and well-maintained, with clean toilet and shower facilities. Reviewers frequently praise the friendly and welcoming owners, the quiet atmosphere despite being on a working farm, and the surrounding countryside. Some guests noted ongoing construction and a second vehicle incident that led to negative interactions with the owner.

Liked Nothing.
Disliked Very rude.
Lots of diggers building a shower block in the day. Entirely inappropriate to allow kids there now.
Came by and joined my partner at night in a van as we were working nearby. We didn't see any stipulations saying we couldn't have a second vehicle (which was a big van) which was the only reason we booked this place.
Extremely rude owner came up and tried to insinuate I parked badly (which I hadn't). Then proceeded to patronise me about how hard I'd find it to reverse in the morning (would be have said this if I was a man?)... So made my reverse it in the dark instead. Left a rather sour taste in our mouths.
A site for those without a soul. Paid for 5 night and stayed for one. Would not recommend or return;
