What customers say
This is a consistently praised quiet and peaceful site, described as clean, well-maintained, and beautifully kept. Reviewers highlight the friendly and welcoming nature of the owner, Margaret. Facilities, including showers and toilets, are generally reported as clean and adequate, though some found them dated or a little basic. Pitches are often noted as level and well-serviced. Its convenient location near the M6 and for visiting the Lake District is a significant plus, as is the proximity of a good pub. Some minor drawbacks mentioned include limited dog walking areas, a lack of outdoor washing-up facilities, and occasional issues with shower timers or Wi-Fi.
