Clean toilets and showers, nice location

    Disliked:

Came back from park foot, after a week’s stay from 24th June to 1st July. It is the third time we have stayed, as previously stayed with family. I must say I was very disappointed this time, as from the first day we had nothing but problems with the electric hook up, as it kept on tripping out. As the weather was not very good for the week, this meant lots of disruption going in and out the tent to reset the trip. As my kettle seemed to be the main issue for this, I thought it might of been the problem, until a campervan parked next to us, and he found the same problem from the same point. He solved his problem by moving pitch, and had no further issues. As ours was a large tent, and had already unloaded everything into the tent, we were unable to relocate. Furthermore the electric point was switched off every day for an hour, but me and my husband were not informed. The first weekend was very noisy till around 2am from a group of people, which no member from parkfoot seemed to do anything about, this was very disappointing as I had asked for somewhere quiet. One day through the week, we had workmen cutting the grass (on a slope behind our tent) who were very loud, and the grass was just hitting the back of the tent. I did write to Park foot on their website, but was informed they had phone numbers to contact people on site. I feel there should of been some kind of security of a night, and don't feel it should of been our responsibility to report noise, as this should be checked by security staff. Park foot never responded back, just feel once they had received our money they were not interested in our problems during our stay.

We have always liked park foot as it is a lovely place, and always come back, but on this occasion I feel our holiday was ruined, and will be considering an alternative place in future.
