Wonderful campsite. Well spaced out. Friendly and relaxing
Camping pod (family)
Liked Clean and dry family pods. Spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 children plus our luggage. Toilets and showers are modern and well maintained. Friendly owners. Excellent playground on site. Great walk down to the river where you can paddle and go on the rope swing

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Mains Farm Camping is an absolute gem!
The owners are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to make everyone feel at home.
The site is fantastic for kids, with plenty of space to explore, play, and enjoy the outdoors safely. The whole place has such a relaxed, friendly vibe that makes it easy to unwind from the moment you arrive.
Beautiful surroundings, great facilities, and a genuinely warm atmosphere, we can't wait to come back!
Disliked Our only downside was the birds in the shower block. It's quite quirky at first, but with young children it quickly becomes less charming when there's bird droppings on the floor, towels, and the risk of it landing on you. It would be great if the shower block could be enclosed or bird-proofed to stop them getting in. It's a small issue in an otherwise fantastic campsite, but it would make a big difference.

Camping pod (family)
Liked Lovely peaceful campsite. Very relaxing place to go. Second time we've been here, my daughter loves it here. We stayed in the pod which was clean, good having the plug sockets and heater if needed. Owners are both very friendly and helpful. Daughter loves having the play area, we also found a swing on the river walk and went into the river to plodge and play after a long day hiking in the heat. Showers are great, nice and clean, also good water pressure and nice and warm too. Love the location as its quite remote but can get to plenty of places within a half hours drive. Will no doubt be back again

Lots of facilities on site, lovely views
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Lots of facilities on site, lovely views, and easily accessible to Penrith. The shop was a godsend to buy items you have forgotten or need, along with ice for the hot days we are having! Bathroom and shower facilities are cleaned daily and are very good.
Disliked lots of flies but it is the time of year! so take your spray and fly repellent.
