What customers say
This is a well-maintained, family-friendly campsite with spacious pitches, stunning views, and a peaceful atmosphere. Owners Robert and Julie are consistently praised for their warm welcome and helpfulness. Facilities, including hot showers, toilets, and communal kitchens, are generally very clean and well-equipped. An honesty shop is a popular feature. The site offers beautiful river walks and is ideal for children, with a good play area. Some minor issues like occasional flies or distant facilities have been noted, but overall visitor experiences are overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked I liked the large pitch with electric hook up and fresh water. The site was very peaceful and we had a lovely greeting from Bridget. There was access to the river for a walk with the dog and plenty of dog poo waste bins.
We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay.
Disliked The showers and toilet facilities were in need of a deep clean.

Liked Nothing
Disliked There was no one to check us in and no phone signal to call the number provided, the toilets were unsanitary and very basic there were boxes everywhere filled to the brim with bags of dog waste we decided not to stay and travelled back to the site we had stayed on the previous day. At no time during the next three days did anyone from mains farm attempt to contact us to enquire why we weren’t there . This is poor customer service and very disappointing.
