What customers say
This campsite offers a handy and quiet stay with essential amenities for short visits. However, reviews highlight issues with the lack of running water, which the management states is being addressed. Concerns were also raised regarding unkempt grass and the condition of portable toilets, though the manager indicated these are cleaned weekly and cited a broken grass topper as a temporary issue, also noting that the absence of running water is clearly stated in site details.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked .
Disliked AVOID - This campsite is umkept, tall grass, that is a paradise for red flying ants, hornets and midges. This is not a campsite. The only patch of short grass was by the portaloo which stank.
This is not accessible to those on foot.
I knew there was no shower but unclear about running drinking water - there is none

From the manager: I was expecting this review to come. The reason the campsite hasn't been topped is our topper has broken usually it's kept on top off but we've had a nightmare getting parts. The grass isn't crazy high and no one else was complaining about it. The portaloos are cleaned and sucked out once a week so again not quite sure what your getting at with that one.
It very clearly states in the utilities section that theres no running water on site so that's not my fault you didn't read it again no one else has complained about this.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. Water is something we are sorting before next season. Unfortunately the supply got cut off so we're having to seek alternative options. Many thanks for you feedback and we hope you'll stay with us again.
