Gill Head Farm offers a beautiful setting with stunning views and excellent, clean facilities, including a highly praised communal room. Guests consistently highlight the friendly and helpful staff, spacious pitches, and convenient location. The site is well-maintained and family-friendly, with many returning visitors. Minor points include occasional road noise and patchy Wi-Fi, but these are generally considered outweighed by the overall positive experience.

Super value. I would definitely recommend this site.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked The facilities provided, for the price I paid, were excellent. Having access to kettles, microwaves, and toasters made life much easier, and you don't get them elsewhere. Lots of small details had been thought of.

Non-electric grass tent pitch (riverside)
Liked Friendly people and the site was quiet (apart from the sheep)! They weren't noisy all the time.
Disliked Couldn't park where we had booked by the riverside on grass as it was very wet so we had to park on a hard stand.

Would recommend if the door was updated
Camping pod (no pets)
Liked Great place and good price
Disliked I had a toddler with me and the door could be un locked from the inside - woukd recommend a top lock on the other door to prevent this. Was worried he might get out the pod in the night

Kipper cabin
Liked loved everything nothing bad about it to say , you do share the cabin with a few spiders but that is expected. Absolutely love this place. We have stayed four times cozy warm plenty of blankets and pillows. Everything you need for a comfortable stay., kettle toaster, microwave , barbecue fire pits its own toilet , even has a log burner which is amazing when it’s pouring down with rain outside and cold and you’re cosy in bed with the fire burning .owners of the farm are fantastic. Also on this visit we made use of the community room which holds kettle toaster television free Wi-Fi and it’s lovely and warm and you get the chance to socialise with the other campers. Unfortunately our weekend was very wet which was very cozy while we were in the cabin just meant that while we were out walking we were extremely wet through but this did not ruin our weekend whatsoever we returned back to Gill head farm and straight to a lovely warm shower which were also lovely and clean, as soon as sunrise rises the birds and the squirrels are up the trees which you can see lying in your bed and opening the door just a beautiful cosy environment right in the middle of the trees and we cannot wait to return for our fifth time. thank you see you again soon, Lianne and Craig
Disliked absolutely nothing at all I can think of that I dislike even sleeping with the spiders oh and the moths.

Excellent communal heated room with basic cooking facilities eg. Microwave, kettle toaster. Also a seperate room to use your own gas stove. All undercover from the par for the coursetorrential rain. Tv too with basic channels for us Strictly fans.
