Liked Beautiful camp site the views around the area are stunning. Camp site is clean and tidy owners where very helpful in giving routes to walk on we walked from hear up to scarfell pike took about 7 hours at a steady pace. All in all great price and place would highly recommend if you are in the area.

Porta loos weren't as bad as some reviews said, smelly(to be expected) but clean and well stocked with loo roll!

Liked Great location , fantastic views , easy access to the lake which was great for paddles . David was super friendly and helpful . It’s basic no frills little site on a working farm . Can’t go wrong !

Liked The views were amazing , the sound of the lake was so soothing. Also the fact that you are at the bottom end of the lake so there was hardly any people at all compared to when we walked towards the other end and was crowded with cars but from the camp end you saw nothing but beautiful views
Disliked No complaints at all. I think people need to read the fact it says portaloo and not expect anything else because when I read the reviews I was confused what kind of Luxuries people expected. They served the purpose perfectly

Would definitely recommend!
Disliked Would've been convenient if toilets would have water as well, as they did have soap dispensers, however we used hand sanitiser in one of the portaloos so managed to get by.

Liked Perfect camping spot close to lake unreal views. Campsite clean perfect for family’s and weekend away for mates. Owner really helpful and helped with anything we needed. Provided us with fire wood. Would highly recommend will be returning.
