What customers say
This is a well-regarded campsite with excellent, clean, and modern facilities, particularly the shower/toilet blocks. Guests praise the friendly and helpful staff, beautiful location close to the beach, and on-site ice cream parlour. Dog-friendly walks are a highlight. Some minor issues include occasional drainage problems, limited dining options on-site during certain hours, and intermittent Wi-Fi. A few reviews mention noise from nearby areas and a desire for more local amenities.

Liked We was on a section which was for seasonal pitches and it was really nice and quite. Would not want to be on the other section as it was very busy.
Ice cream shop was fantastic. The weather was amazing and the staff are lovely.
Didn't use the Wifi as we have our own system set up in the caravan. However the smarty sim car worked fine with full bars on our router.
Disliked Nothing.

Nice place, would stay again but not in the same area
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The view, friendly staff. Showers, toilets and pot washing area all kept really clean, easy access to beach and other places.
Disliked Main grass area where we were, had people riding electric bikes across it, and people treating it as a football pitch, would be nice if people played near their tents instead of near other people's.

It could be really nice but not with the permanent residents
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Plenty of space to pitch, ski bar just next to the site was really nice in the sunshine.
Disliked Rows of caravans that were obviously year round homes for people. Really poorly maintained with lots of poorly constructed fences and gardens. Right in the middle of the site.

Black Combe View electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Location by the water was good and showers were really spacious and clean. The guy on site was very friendly and helpful. And the gelato shop on site was yummy!!!
Disliked Dish washing area was open air - not too good in wet weather - but the weather wasn’t the campsite fault.
