What customers say
This campsite offers a great location, moments from the beach, with friendly and helpful staff. Visitors praise the clean, modern toilet and shower facilities, with many highlighting the individual wet rooms. The on-site cafe and ice cream parlour are popular additions. The site is generally quiet and well-maintained, offering spacious pitches and ideal dog walking routes. Some guests experienced issues with pitch drainage and noted the remote location with limited local amenities, though the proximity to the beach and nature reserve is a key draw for many.

New favourite place
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Fantastic shower/ toilet facilities (wet rooms with toilet and ample hanging space).
Dog friendly.
Superb icecream on site (probs the best I’ve had).
10min walk to Haverigg beach. Keep walking another 20mins and you come across the most beautiful open stretch of beach which is perfect for dogs.
5 min walk from village. There’s a Londis there if you’re short on supplies. Couple of pubs but we personally preferred the Ski Bar next to the site.
Very friendly owner.
Chilled camping vibe.
Really couldn’t fault it - new favourite place.
Disliked That we couldn’t stay longer.

Would recommend the campsite just not the town
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Greeted by a lovely lady who explained everything so well to us as first time in our Campervan.
Can’t fault the campsite at all, the showers spotless & lovely & warm with radiators in them all. Great pitch, was level & the whole experience enjoyable on the site.
Disliked Downside was the local town, the local pub took cash only & things seem to close early, the fish & chip shop / Londis closed by 7:30pm on a Friday .
Also need to order food at the Ski Bar before 8pm
Great camp side but the town lets it’s down! But if you’re planning on eating on the site, it’s perfect & a lovely walk to the beach.

Excellent site , Clean facilities and friendly staff.
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Good size hardstanding and grass pitches. Nice clean site with plenty of space for motorhomes, caravans and tents. Bonus was a homemade ice cream shop and cafe. Toilets and showers very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Only a 5 min walk to the beach and 10min walk into Haverigg village for a good chippy.
There is also a bar only 5 min walk away on the holiday village next door.
Disliked Nothing.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked We only stayed one night, but everything was clean and tidy, lovely level pitches, spacious site, with shower cubicles, laundry, loos, and an ice cream shop on site. Peaceful with a good nights sleep.
Disliked The only small issue I could not find any way to dry my hands in the loos after washing them.
