What customers say
This small, quiet campsite is praised for its stunning views, excellent location for walks and access to local amenities. Visitors consistently highlight the cleanliness of the facilities, including showers and toilets, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners. Pitches are described as level with EHU and water. Minor points raised include the site's hardstanding pitches and occasional difficulties with awnings, and some confusion regarding signage. Overall, guests highly recommend and plan to return.

Very pleasant stay!

Liked Really quiet which was perfect for us. The location to Keswick was great with a bus just across the road every hour. Scenery was spectacular, could look at those mountains for ever. The RAF fly overs added to the experience. The arrival greeting was lovely, Lindsay was very informative. WiFi was superb
Disliked The toilet/shower set up. Don’t know what else to say about it.The waste water for motorhomes was not accessible to drain off as the area it was located in was too small to allow the van to fit over. Very inconvenient for us. Had to drive to next campsite to empty. Never ideal.

Liked This is a really lovely site with very friendly owners. The views across to Skiddaw are spectacular. The toilets and showers are very clean. And the price is very reasonable considering you also get EHU as well and free WiFi. We really enjoyed our 2 weeks on the site attending the Keswick Convention. It was so easy to cycle into Keswick every day. And we look forward to returning to this peaceful site again in the future.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked The views are spectacular. The owners very attentive. Showers and toilets cleaned regularly.
Disliked Some of the grounds were small stone chippings but other parts were large. It was easier on the small stones. Perhaps this can be easily changed?

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Sehr kleiner ruhiger Platz, freundliche Betreiber.
