Liked Beautiful location and surroundings. A basic but more than adequate campsite that’s super friendly and managed well. The ground was good and drained despite rain (it’s the Lakes - it comes with the territory) and my two daughters and I had a wonderful time. The facilities were clean, nice strong and warm showers and it’s always a must to have a fire pit and bbq. Fire pits available from the site staff who are friendly and helpful. All in a great site with amazing views

Liked We had a great stay with our rooftop tent. Staff was really friendly, showers and toilets got cleaned regularly. You are allowed a fire and can buy wood on site: awesome!

Great pop-up site we would happily visit again.
Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked A beautiful location with easy walking access to Catbells, the Coledale Horseshoe, and other local fells. Easy drive to Keswick. All facilities clean and in good condition, with friendly and responsive management of the site.
Disliked Some rude neighbours, who were eventually asked to leave and banned from the campsite — but not before they had upset a number of other residents. In a perfect world the management would have asked them to leave sooner.
