What customers say
This campsite is praised for its stunning Dent village location, offering beautiful scenery and easy access to local pubs and walks. Guests found the staff welcoming and facilities generally clean. However, some reviewers noted issues with overcrowding during busy periods, particularly on bank holidays, leading to cramped pitches and a lack of organisation. The coin-operated showers were also a point of concern for some.

Liked Lovely area, straight into the beautiful village from campsite, lots of walking in the area.
Disliked Thought the pitches were a bit close, had booked an awning pitch but didn't put it up due to the high winds,if we had put the awning up would have been no space between us and next pitch.

Liked Stunning location, pretty little village and local pubs, heritage centre really interesting.
Disliked Grass longer than would have liked but not the end of the world. Narrow access lanes so be steady driving

Overall we loved the site and will probably return
Electric grass tent pitch (large)
Liked Loved the location - gorgeous setting, nestled in the hills right next to such a picture postcard little village. Lovely family running the site, who were very welcoming. The heritage cafe which is part of the site seemed a bit expensive but it’s really good. The coffee is really good and food is all homemade with proper farmhouse ingredients. Two good pubs and a shop in the village too.
Disliked We arrived on Saturday evening and the campsite was very busy. Some of the campers were noisy late into the night and had music playing. Most were away for a weekend break as they all left of the Sunday morning so the Sunday night was perfect - peaceful and tranquil

Liked Absolutely loved the site and the little village was lovely. There was lovely views of mountains fields sheep and a lovely village which had 2 pubs a lovely cafe and a nice shop. The place was beautiful and peaceful but there was a lot of noisy kids crying a lot.
Disliked The noisey kids crying and their parents not telling them to be quiet. You have to 40 pence for the showers.

Liked The site offers great amenities. Heritage centre is a dreary addition and offers great food and drink. Margaret welcomed us upon arrival. Very friendly and welcoming.
Disliked No dislikes. I had not read enough to know I needed to pay with coins for the shower and therefore was not prepared for this. I was only there one night so not a major issue. Would be happy to pay if we return.
