What customers say
This is a quiet, well-maintained adults-only site with spacious, level pitches and friendly, helpful staff. It's considered good value for money and ideal for stopovers or peaceful breaks, with easy access to Nantwich. Optional metered electric hook-up is available. Some guests noted occasional road noise and a lack of on-site toilet facilities, which is clearly stated. The owner has addressed issues like overflowing bins and is working on site improvements.

Horrible stay
Electric optional grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Flat concrete pitch. Cheap.
Disliked Constant yapping dogs which had a horn blown at them when they didn't shut up after being shouted at. The fire that some idiot lit and created the most appalling smell all night that invaded our van and then continued to stoke said fire that was still going when we managed to escape the next day.

From the manager: Thank you for your comments. I am so sorry that you didn’t enjoy your stay, but this park is my home and the dogs are part of my life ,they are my family so I am very sorry that you didn’t like me playing with them with the horn and the games ,sometimes I do burn old leaves and wood so I am sorry you didn’t like the smell. also, I think you are the lady or gentleman I charged £10 to stay for 24 hours. because you didn’t have the right change , but you should’ve come across to me and I would’ve given you your money back and you could have left at any time, if you didn’t like the sound of the dogs, but ,Thank you again , yours sincerely , Julie Finney

Liked Unfortunately we didn’t make it to the pitch due to the hired motorhome developing some faults and had to be returned to the hire company for repairs.

Very good site pitch prices are reasonable add £5 per night for EHU
Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Very easy access and secure, was welcomed on site by Julie who directed us to a good spot, the pitches are very spacious and you are not encroaching on your neighbour. 2 water points for the site and plenty rubbish bins but these should be labeled to encourage recycling. The site is generally very peaceful and despite the expanded size of the campsite and it being a bank holiday it was very peaceful. 30 minutes walk to the nearest pub in the village and 10 min drive into Nantwich so a great location. Would definitely return
Disliked The right hand side of the campsite seems to be under development and appears to be a work in progress, the grass needs some TLC and HS need to be weeded. Also doesn't have enough electric points for all pitches at the time of our stay and seemed to be over booked for people wanting EHU over the BH weekend, so many people were searching round for the EHU points and in some cases being advised they could share, fine if you are with friends and have a splitter but at the high cost of electric on site I would be reluctant to share. We were running off Gas the whole time and cost us £11 for 3 nights. All that said, The site has loads of potential and very well set out, we would definitely return.

Cheap, spacious, rural, expensive EHU
Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Secure site
Spacious
Quiet mostly (occasional road noise)
Short drive (or long walk) into Nantwich
Cheap pitches
Julie very welcoming
Disliked Grass badly needed cutting.
Recycling point is just black bins - no labels
Electricity seems very expensive at .55kwh
More than double house rates. Costs about £5 / night with basically just fridge running, and very little else.
Also, booking EHU doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll get EHU to yourself, you may have to share, and that relies on using a splitter. Overall at £20/night still a good price in today’s market.
To be fair I think the site is new and the owners are working on these issues. Might be sorted soon. Great future potential

Liked Secure gated access,
5 min ride to the local pub
10 mins ride into Nantwich
Peaceful site with occasional road noise
Disliked Not all pitches have electric so you have to look around, also you may end up sharing using a splitter with your neighbour
£15 per night without electric.
Metered electric approximately £5 extra per night using minimal electric
Dog walk needed mowing grass too long for small dogs
