What customers say
This small, friendly campsite is located next to the Harrington Arms pub, which receives consistent praise for its excellent food, reasonably priced drinks, and welcoming atmosphere. The campsite offers basic but clean toilet and shower facilities. While adjacent to a busy road, many guests found the noise manageable, especially overnight, and appreciated the good value for money. Pitches are generally level and come with a picnic bench. Some guests noted the site could benefit from minor updates.

Level pitches each with grassy area…
Fully-serviced grass and gravel motorhome pitch
Liked Level pitches each with grassy area and picnic bench.
Good facilities and services - all included
EHU next to pitch also included.
Playground - rare to find a campsite with one!
Good 5g signal, strong enough for streaming.
Road noise present but couldn’t hear it in the van/didn’t wake us up.
Well situated with lots of hiking nearby.
Well set up for campervans/motorhomes. Good spacing between pitches. We had pitch 2 which was close to the toilet and the fresh water point.
2 toilets and one shower.
Owner came down to the pitch to settle bill, had good local knowledge.
Will book again, price was excellent (£27 per pitch). To get this level of services and EHU for under £30 in summer time is a bargain.
Disliked Ignore people complaining about the road noise - it really isn’t that bad!!

You get what you pay for, a no frills overnight stop
Fully-serviced grass and gravel motorhome pitch
Liked The price,
Disliked I wouldn't say disliked but disappointed, it was next to a very busy noisy road which we knew about, and living next to one didn't particularly bother us, but the site just seemed to be neglected and looking sorry for its self. There was one toilet and one shower room including toilet which were functional and cleanish.

Secluded site on a busy road…
Fully-serviced grass and gravel motorhome pitch
Liked Secluded site on a busy road but noise did not bother us. Basic but toilet and shower were clean and served their purpose. Nice grass area around our pitch with a picnic bench. Pub next door with reasonably priced drinks. My husband ate steak strips in peppercorn sauce on chips and topped with cheese… and loved it, he always complains about something but not this time!
