Liked The welcome was so warm and friendly. The shepherds hut was lovely. It was a peaceful and relaxing location. Close to all the major attractions you go to see

Bell tent

Liked The bell tent was perfectly situated to take in the views across the fields
It was very comfortable
Loved the wood burner for the evening when it got a little bit chilly , made the tent so cosy
Jude and Dave were so welcoming
We had breakfast brought to the tent which was fab and a meal in the evening which was delicious
Lots to see around the area.
We plan to visit again (probably stay in the shepherds hut next time, which looks lovely) as we could not visit everything we wanted to

With your first taste of a castle under your belt, there are many more to add to your wishlist, including the twin-towered Dunstanburgh Castle (10 minutes), the medieval Warkworth Castle (20 minutes) and the artefacts-packed armoury, state rooms and king’s hall at Bamburgh Castle (30 minutes).
