What customers say
Clear Sky Caravan Park is praised for its beautiful forest location, offering stunning views and exceptional tranquility. Visitors consistently highlight the outstanding quality and cleanliness of the modern shower and toilet facilities, often described as the best ever encountered. The spacious, level pitches with water and electric hook-ups are well-regarded, as are the numerous walking and cycling trails accessible directly from the site. The site's dark skies are a significant draw for stargazing. Manager replies indicate a commitment to addressing issues and maintaining high standards. Some guests encountered midges, particularly in warmer months, and noted limited on-site services or Wi-Fi range, recommending preparation for these aspects.

Wonderful people and wonderful place.
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Where to start! Jackie and David could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The site is small but beautiful and the pitches are of a good size. The view from the pitches is spectacular. The facilities are spotless, with huge shower rooms. There is plenty of walking right at your door. What an amazing place.
Disliked Absolutely nothing (although some sun would have been nice!)

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Really Really tidy & clean - The Facilities Cabin is superb - Warm, Welcoming & Pristine Clean. With all the facilities that you may need.
Disliked Not so keen on the location, which was our mistake because it does clearly say it is in the middle of the Kielder Forest but due to that, there was a lack of open air country views.
Also, no one came to welcome us or even acknowledge we were there, it would have been nice if someone had maybe introduced themselves, so you are present if you need them.

Perfectly located.

Liked Location, great walks from the site, near the castle (for when it reopens). Fab underfloor heating showers. Great kitchen and washing clothes facilities.
Disliked Midge season but expected that with the rain!

Liked Best showers going. Views excellent. Will definitely be coming back but with our dogs next time.
Disliked Didn't read all the small print to note that we took up any available pitch when we arrived - hence an initial phone call.
Shame the info from the local pub wasn't accurate.
Wifi a bit of an issue

Probably more suited to cyclists and walkers!
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Good size pitches well laid out. Excellent toilet block even with washing machine and dryer. Had great fun watching the siskins (like greenfinches only smaller) on our feeders. Great views. Good to have it fully serviced.
Disliked Recycling maybe could have been clearer. Unfortunately when we were there the castle and cafe were closed for renovations. As we have mobility difficulties we were very limited what we could do. Maybe our fault for choosing this site! Small shop only opened a few days a week. Long way to go to get shopping.
