What customers say
This is a lovely, well-maintained small site with spacious pitches and excellent, clean facilities, including modern unisex wet rooms. The location is ideal for exploring the Northumbrian coast and historic sites. Guests praised the peaceful atmosphere and the friendly owners. Some minor issues were noted, including occasional low water pressure in showers and small washing-up sinks, though these did not detract significantly from the overall positive experience. Many reviewers expressed a desire to return.

Liked Spacious pitches. Nice area. Good showers and loos. Chemical waste accessible.
Disliked Not being assigned to a pitch. Not seeing the owners during our six night stay. Otherwise great.

From the manager: Hi Sue, thank you for taking the time to write a comment and I’m so pleased you found the pitches spacious and with good showers and loos. We don’t pre-allocate pitches as that’s what the majority of guests have requested, that they pick their own. Plus just being a small site this usually works well. I’m sorry I didn’t get to say hi in person during your stay. I am constantly on and off the site multiple times a day as we just live next door. Unfortunately it just seemed that you were either out exploring beautiful Northumberland or in your caravan when I was out cleaning the shower block/pods etc. My apologies for this, and as all information says I was at the end of the phone if you had an issue or needed anything. So sorry to see you wouldn’t stay here again. I hope you got home safely. Thanks, Katryna

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Lovely little site, very friendly owners who came over to say hello. The toilets and showers were lovely! Great location for a day in Alnwick and not that far from Bamburgh Castle.
Disliked A little bit damp on the grass pitches end of October so we had to push to get going but that's just an issue anywhere this time of year on a grass pitch!

Brilliant site, great location for Alnwick visits and fab beaches
2 bedroom camping pod (four person)
Liked The pod, the location, it was great. The set up inside the pod is cleverly done to feel like it’s bigger than it looks from outside. The whole site is a lovely setup.
Disliked I can’t say there’s anything we disliked
