Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Had a great 2 night stay at Willentree! Picked up a Motorhome in Lancaster and wanted a pitch on a small site to try everything out. 5 perfectly formed fairly private pitched Willentree was perfect! Bill the owner was on hand if needed but left us to it. Fabulous little place with sheep, horses and an abundance of cows in the surrounding fields. Grey waste and chemical waste easy and clean (May need a hose to dispose of the grey waste of your tap is low to the floor like ours). Brilliant little pub 10 minute walk to the right when you come out of the site ( The Punch Bowl} Geoff and his wife serving good food and drinks and a 30 minute walk to the left takes you to the village with a couple more pubs all with friendly locals, shops and takeaways if wanted. A couple of walks along the river through the fields with cows and sheep was a lovely way to set us up for the day! Would definitely return when in the area
Disliked Nothing, everything as per the advert. Simple!

Liked The owners are very friendly and understanding. The pitches are level. Good electrical hook ups and high water pressure and pumped grey waste. Easy access, good waste facilities, and gated entry. Very dog friendly with farm animals in adjacent fields on three sides. The access road isn't busy either.

Liked Had to rearrange my visit to this weekend, but did so by contacting the site directly and speaking to the owner. It was changed without any hassle. Lovely little site and a nice base with easy reach of high bentham and local pubs. We seemed very lucky with the weather and avoided the wind & rain during the day. Listening to the little stream was very relaxing and the 3 sheep in the field was happy to have a nose rub.
We would definitely return.
