Positiv The site was lovely and clean and ideally situated for lower and higher Bentham. Was great to have all the amenities on your pitch with cows, sheep horses and rabbits in the surrounding fields.

Negativ These are not negatives but my personal preferences. Could do with a little hut with some local information ie walks etc only because if it wasn’t for the staff at the punch bowl we would not have known there was a walk along river to higher Bentham (which was lovely), as per previous reviews there is no tv or mobile signal so maybe provide wifi if there is a little charge just to help to find walks etc. and this one was my personal grievance the cctv watching over the vans made me feel a little un comfy (maybe should be near gate/enterance).

Positiv We recently stayed at Willentree Caravan & Motorhome Park and had a fantastic experience. It's a small, quiet site that is exceptionally well laid out, with level pitches that are a great size. The privacy fences between pitches are a lovely touch and make the site feel even more peaceful and relaxing.

Each pitch is fully serviced with electric, water, and waste connections, which makes for a very comfortable stay. The site is excellent value for money, and the owner was extremely helpful and welcoming throughout our visit.

We enjoyed a local circular walk with our dogs, which was a great way to explore the surrounding area. There are also plenty of pubs and places to eat in the nearby village for those who want to venture out. However, we were so comfortable on site that we chose to stay put, relax, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

Overall, this is a well-maintained, friendly, and excellent-value site that we would highly recommend. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Positiv Area great good pub mile away Punch bowl. Site clean and tidy nice scenery sheep and horses other side of fence. Shops couple mile away good selection. Really quiet and relaxing. Serviced pitch, Well set out site .

Negativ NO WiFi so couldn't even get TV or radio signal.Ground for awning was just rough and loose so no way would pegs hold in. Slope to get out of sight was terrible trying to get caravan up it while car was not gripping at all. Didn't even see owner till day after we arrived (in pub) no checks if we was okay etc. Considering only 2 tourers on site. When we left site was totally empty bad sign in July. We had to call him on arrival to find out how to get into pitch.

Vom Platzbetreiber: Sorry you had such a bad experience. I apologise for not being there for your arrival. This is due to the fact I have a 9 to 5 to go to . That is why it says on pitchup.com. to ring . For anybody that has been before they know what to expect. The big issue for you was the WiFi. No we don't have any . Most caravan owners have a dongle or piggyback off there phones. And as for only 2 tourers on site when you left .... think you was mistaken there was no one on site at all. As the site has only been open 12 months and a business takes time to grow I think willentree Caravan and Motorhome Park is doing OK. . Information for new visitors don't forget your screw ground anchors and dongle

Positiv Had a great 2 night stay at Willentree! Picked up a Motorhome in Lancaster and wanted a pitch on a small site to try everything out. 5 perfectly formed fairly private pitched Willentree was perfect! Bill the owner was on hand if needed but left us to it. Fabulous little place with sheep, horses and an abundance of cows in the surrounding fields. Grey waste and chemical waste easy and clean (May need a hose to dispose of the grey waste of your tap is low to the floor like ours). Brilliant little pub 10 minute walk to the right when you come out of the site ( The Punch Bowl} Geoff and his wife serving good food and drinks and a 30 minute walk to the left takes you to the village with a couple more pubs all with friendly locals, shops and takeaways if wanted. A couple of walks along the river through the fields with cows and sheep was a lovely way to set us up for the day! Would definitely return when in the area

Positiv 2nd time staying at Willentree and I will deffo be staying there again, site is lovely and well looked after by the owner who is always happy to help with any questions you my have. Beautiful surroundings and a short walk to pubs and shops nearby.
