What customers say
This well-maintained campsite is praised for its cleanliness, friendly and helpful owner, and lovely countryside location just outside York. Guests highlight the spotless showers and toilets, spacious pitches, and the picturesque fishing lake. Its proximity to York's park and ride and Monks Cross shopping centre is a significant advantage, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, a few minor points were raised regarding the washing-up area, lack of WiFi, and occasional drainage issues.

Electric optional grass touring pitch
Liked We had a lovely stay , very quiet as we arrived on Sunday for 3 days which was nice . We rang the owner when we was near to arriving & he was there to show us where to park. He was very friendly & helpful as we needed a connection to fill the water . The toilets were very clean & warm with large showers. We got taxis into York which was busy , but lovely. We will definitely return in the summer. If you like fishing there’s a lovely lake , which seemed very popular.
