Lovely, peaceful site to truly relax and switch off
Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Lovely, peaceful and well kept site with super views. The hedges in between the pitches give you privacy and it was so restful here. We enjoyed listening to the birds and the fact you could hear nothing but nature! Great location for some of the north yorkshire attractions such as Castle Howard, Kirkham Abbey and Flamingo Land. Also super for walking.
Disliked It would be handy to have a toilet/shower available but it is very clear when booking that the site does not have these.

Liked Great little site, lovely and clean and very quiet! No facilities which is clearly stated when booking. Plenty of dog walks direct from the site and it is easy walking distance to local villages. We were greeted by the owner and shown to a plot, everything worked fine and no complaints from us. Already looking forward to our next visit! ☺️

Pleasant, well cared for, small rural site.
Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Chosen as near to a family member for a one night stay on route to NC500. Pleasant rural little site with 3 caravan pitches, 1 motorhome pitch and 2 or 3 chalets, no showers/wc but we knew that and ok for a short stay. Friendly farmer/ owner.
Disliked Nothing although nothing within walking distance for motorhome but that didn’t matter for such a short stopover.

A very good site with spacious pitches in a quiet peaceful setting .
Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked My wife and myself stayed 10 nights in our touring caravan, the pitches are fully serviced with water and electricity , they are spacious and reasonably level.
The site is clean and cared for . It is a very peaceful setting with an abundance of bird life and deer in the adjoining fields. There is no light pollution at night which enabled us to see some wonderful night skies and a meteor shower . The male owner greeted us on our arrival, he was friendly and helpful with advice on the local area and places to visit and eat out .
Disliked The only slight negative was the chemical waste facility . This is a normal toilet with seat situated outdoors at the end of the site, the seat does not stay up , therefore making it difficult for emptying the waste . A proper chemical waste facility would be much better and larger than a small toilet.
