What customers say
This is a clean and peaceful site with friendly, helpful staff and well-maintained grounds. Guests appreciated the quiet atmosphere, lovely surroundings, and the leisure room with games. While some found the toilet and shower facilities dated, they were generally reported as clean and adequate. Some visitors noted issues with Wi-Fi strength, a lack of local amenities, and a perceived lack of dog-friendliness due to charges and limited exercise areas. The site's location offers good access to Whitby and the moors.

Used to be a lovely site, but is now very un-loved
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch (maximum 7 metres)
Liked We pitched here to walk the coast section of Cleveland Way. The location of the campsite plus excellent local bus service made this very easy
Disliked Attitude of warden: the reception is open from 12-5pm. We arrived at 1pm and could not get him to respond to buzzer/bell. We had to phone owner who gave us the entry code. Consequently we had no idea where to take waste or recycling.
My husband told the warden there was no soap in the men's toilet block. His first response was that he had not started work yet (09:10 in the morning). He eventually sorted it out after 3 days

Excellent site and would stay again
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch (maximum 7 metres)
Liked The quietness and tidiness of the site and the location was only 10 mins drive from Whitby
Disliked Could do with more signs pointing out where things are (e.g. chemical waste). It was on the map provided but still took a while to find as it was at the side of a static caravan

Friendly and welcoming site.
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch (maximum 7 metres)
Liked Very friendly and welcoming staff. Well spaced out pitches . Hookup points and water tap on every pitch. Toilet block very clean and only a minute from the pitches. Security barrier at the entrance. Lovely site only stayed for one night but we will be back for a longer stay.

Nice clean site, very basic for price but did the job.
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch (maximum 7 metres)
Liked Tidy site, bit remote for what we hoped but was a late booking. Very clean. Also hit by storm Dave so a rough night as not much shelter from the elements but that was no ones fault.
Disliked Toilets very dated and cold, mens have just been 'renovated' new tiles on 2 walls!! Pitches were short, website says 7m max, my van 7.6m. I checked before booking and they said ok but leg drops at the rear so needed a gap meaning front sticking out further still. WiFi and signal terrible.
