We visited the game cock on several occasions, just over a mile away, lovely pub, superb food, they also have a nice little French patisserie

Liked what a lovely and friendly site, only spoke to the staff on the phone but they were very easy to communicate with and we were able to keep the caravan in the pitch whilst we went for a hike, and picked it up later in the day. lovely clean showers 😊

Disliked Toilet blocks were freezing as was the “hot” water and hand dryers. When I enquired whether we could borrow or buy a hosepipe to refill our water they weren’t able to help which is a shame when you read about how helpful site owners can often be…

We are sorry to hear that you feel that you did not receive good customer service on this occasion but, unfortunately when you called on New Years Day to borrow a hosepipe we were not on site to facilitate this request for you.
In terms of no hot water and freezing toilet blocks this is not something that was mentioned when you called us and nor, has it been mentioned by any other guests who were onsite at the same time as yourself.
We do hope to welcome you back to Orcaber Farm in the future.

Liked Can’t fault the whole site. It was nice and spacious, clean, quiet and well maintained!
Disliked The only thing we could have done with in the winter was the dog wash station. The water was turned off in case the pipes froze 🤷♀️ 2 cocker spaniels would have been so much easier to wash there than the caravan which is a small factor in why we booked there.
