Quietness of the caravan park…
Electric grass pitch
Liked Quietness of the caravan park
Disliked That the toilet waste disposal was right next to the fresh water facility and the only sink in which to wash your pots

Lovely area, peaceful park, shame facilities weren’t better.
Electric grass pitch
Liked We liked the peacefulness of the caravan park, the spacing in the middle and the animals, which the kids loved. The distance from the coast (both Filey and Scarborough) was also good. We also liked the welcome text message the day before, which gave us clear instructions and allocation of pitch.
Disliked We were a bit disappointed with the showroom / bathroom facilities - which were unfinished (one of three toilets were out of order) and were not the cleanest we have seen. We were also disappointed in the washing up facilities and clean water facilities as this area was definitely unfinished, not cared for and there was only one sink (with no hot water). It did t detract massively from the stay, but it was very basic and looked as though there was not much care put into it. For £37 per night, we expected it to be a bit better in these areas, having paid less for good facilities.

A peaceful, relaxing location. Highly recommend.
Electric grass pitch
Liked A wonderful peaceful location. This site was just what we wanted, peace, calm and plenty of space for the kids to explore and make friends. Its not a huge site so even st capacity didnt feel crowded.
Located alongside the River Derwent you could access the river and paddle easily. (Its very shallow).
The pitches were flat and of a great size. There's two fields but no pitch is too far from facilities.
Lizzie met us on arrival and was very welcoming and accomodating throughout out our stay.
There is only one sink for dishes but I never queued even when the site was full.
The toilets and showers were clean. There are 3 showers, great power and temperature.
In a fabulous location for visiting Scarborough and Filey.
Great Fish and Chips locally.
To address some of the previous reviews they have clearly taken these on board over the lsst couple of years as I didnt find any of the negative comments to be accurate.
Disliked Honestly cant say I disliked anything.

good place to camp, would go again
Electric grass pitch
Liked The people there are lovely, met some lovely people. Lovely views all round,
plenty of space if you have kids for them to play safely in the middle
Disliked shower room could do with mats on the floor , those that let the water run through them as you just get wet after one.

Big pitch…
Electric grass pitch
Liked Big pitch
Disliked Ball games were being played where we were pitched up. Numerous times a ball was hit off our caravan and car. Dogs not on leads and running around the field playing fetch and running and pooping all over. Such a shame

Lovely owner, nice location.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Large grass areas with electric hook up at each pitch. Lovely & quiet in a secluded area, garage within walking distance for anything forgotten! Ponies, donkeys & goats were also welcoming! Open area so kids can play. Play park in village.
River running around site, nice local walks & can get bus or taxi into Scarborough.
Disliked Maintenance required on toilet door locks. Site is clearly still being worked on.
Grass had recently been cut but not collected, so a bit messy.

A really nice site of which we would stop again, nice location.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely quiet site of which we stopped for three nights. Flat pitches and facilities were good, three showers and three toilets all of which were clean and plenty of room.
Showers were hot and no extra price for using them. Looks like site had been updated since previous reviews hence we found everything good. We tried site even after reading reviews and we were glad we didn’t get put off. Overall a lovely stay.
Disliked Not really a dislike but would have been nice if pitches were marked out so that if it did get busy no one be encroaching on your space. Maybe hot water tap would be useful for washing pots.
