Route directions

Please only use these recommended directions for the final approach and not SatNav, due to unsuitable roads for towing. From East on A684: turn right about 0.75 mile past railway bridge with traffic lights and just before the Pheasant Inn at Harmby. Cross the railway bridge, immediately turn left and follow signs to the site entrance. From West on A684: turn left just past the Pheasant Inn at Harmby; then as above. The route from M6 junction 37 via Sedbergh is not advised, being narrow in places. The immediate approach road to the site is narrow, with steep blind bends (look for traffic mirrors on bends).
