What customers say

This well-maintained, peaceful campsite is highly recommended, particularly for families. Guests praise the spotlessly clean private toilet and shower pods, well-equipped pods with kitchen facilities, and a large play area for children. Owners are frequently noted as friendly and accommodating. Some minor issues with shower temperature and Wi-Fi have been mentioned, along with a past concern regarding dog behaviour and facility damage, which the manager has addressed.

Liked We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this place. The welcome was incredibly warm, and the hospitality was exceptional from start to finish. The hosts were fantastic at accommodating our every need. All amenities were spotlessly clean. We were lucky enough to have the entire site to ourselves, making the peaceful surroundings even more enjoyable. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Camping pod

Liked Lovely quiet site with fantastic toilet and shower block. Loved having one just for our use. We had the place to ourselves the first night and then had lovely neighbours for the rest of the stay. Play park was brilliant and the host was lovely and really welcoming. Fire pits were a huge bonus!

Liked Communal bbq, plenty of space for the kids to run around. Owners were incredibly helpful and on hand when we had problems with the lights. The owners very kindly decorated the pod and left chocolates for a birthday we were celebrating. It was quiet and Peaceful at night, clean and well equipped pods and kitchen/ bbq area and a lovely campfire. Can a family ask for anything smore 😊

Camping pod

Liked Wonderful location, really peaceful. We were lucky to have clear night skies and saw shooting stars, zero light pollution around. The fact you have your own shower and toilet is a big plus in the ablutions pod. There are plug sockets in the pods so you can bring a hairdryer, charge your phone etc..The lady who runs it is really friendly and makes you feel welcome. We'll be going back in the future as it's such a lovely place. Nice little park too for kids.

Disliked Having to leave.

Camping pod

Liked We have just left after a 2 night stay, myself and my daughter’s first time in a pod. It was amazing and we have loved every second.
20 mins from flamingo land which we visited 2 days, Our pod had everything we needed, with a pod next door with our own shower to use for our stay and seperate toilet.
The site was peaceful and very quiet, apart from the cockerel in the morning 🤣 which was actually quite nice to hear…. Morning has broken ☀️ There is a park area which my daughter played in, plenty of little villages nearby that we popped to for a mooch about.
We have loved our stay, the lady that owns it was lovely too, we will deffo come and stay again 😊
Amazing value for money 😊

Camping pod

Liked Really enjoyed our stay. It is a lovely quiet site, and well maintained.
The bathroom / shower room best I've had while glamping.
There is a well maintained kitchen area as well as benches / firepits at every pod.
We chose to have a bbq at the picnic bench which was set up for a disposable BBq but there is also a BBQ to use there.
Kids also loved the park

Disliked Nothing, really enjoyed our stay

Camping pod

Liked Informative comms prior to arrival. Check in was 2pm, we arrived later as we stopped of for a jolly on route. Lovely peaceful setting with great facilities. Set away from the main property, giving a secluded feeling. More than enough parking space available. The showers were brilliant and warm. Clean. Great area for kids to play safely and explore. Liked it so much that we invited our family down for a couple of days and ended up with all the pods. Big BBQ and individual fire pits, with the option of buying wood from the owner. Loved sitting of an evening, when the children were in bed. Lovely clear skies, when weather permitted.
Good cleaning facilities for dishes, after meals, with added fridge and microwave to use. Good location for exploring Yorkshire, as there is so much to do in and around the area. Owners were very friendly and checked in on us upon arrival and before departure. We accidently left an item behind which was promptly returned via post.
There was sightings of a little dog who visited one day, from next door but he was absolutely no trouble, very timid. Ran away if approached. He was quite cute and some of our party members hate dogs.

Disliked The only things I disliked was the weather - could have been better... however this is out of the realms of our or anyone's control. And I could have taken some more pictures of the place to upload on here.
