Liked Owner was welcoming and helpful and the site is well maintained. Great for walking and visiting the coast.
Disliked Located on a busy main road, but was pleasantly surprised that road noise was very minimal so this shouldn’t put people off booking

A well run Site, with the Owner/ manager living onsite.
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Welcoming reception from Ged the Campsite Owner. Good sized pitches randomly sited across the field as opposed to uniform rows. Decent showers and toilets and a family bathroom. A proper RV disposal point. Fantastic, uninterrupted views of Roseberry Topping and the Cleveland Hills. There is a nice breakfast Cafe usually available, but closed when we were there (Xmas Day) We did join Ged and his family when they opened it up for a festive get together Xmas evening, which was really nice. Everyone brought their own drinks and Ged laid on the small supper. Good atmosphere.
This is our third visit to this site, we use it because it's convenient to visit relatives in the area, but being a native to these parts i know there is a lot more to see if we did but have the time.
Disliked Nothing really, everything was good

Made to feel welcome on arrival. Great level pitches.

From the manager: Thanks for your review our prices have been reduced until the end of March ,i hope you understand we have a lot of overheads ie 16% commission to pitchup, huge utility bills a huge rise in business rates and 20% VAT which accounts for over 50% of everything we take ,then on top of that there is ongoing maintenance, fuel ,bin collection septic tank emptying, insurance etc so i hope you can see that our pricing model has some structure to it .
Be back again 🙂
