Park Rose Village is a small, family-oriented and friendly holiday park just three miles from the seaside town of Bridlington. It's in the same village as Bridlington Animal Park, an award-winning centre with birds of prey and an animal park. At this park, there are activities throughout the season including flying displays, falconry classes, small animal holding and donkey rides; you'll probably reckon the pig racing is a right hoot too… (Please note that the centre is owned and managed independently from the site and that there are admission charges.) The Park Rose café on site serves breakfast from 10am, and also has homemade cakes and scones, lunches and dinners, and succulent Sunday roasts. A shower block is also available.

Reception

  • Reception is unmanned after 4 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.
  • When arriving, please check in at the café. Shower tokens are only sold at the café: one token (£1) gives five minutes of hot water. Campers with touring units are asked to use their own shower/toilet facilities wherever possible.

Nomadic yurt (no pets)

Liked The water in loos/showers was hot. The peacocks

Disliked Yurt hadn't been swept. The windows/door didn't have adequate straps to have them open. The kettle hadn't been emptied from last occupants. The toilet block was full of cobwebs, the hand dryer didn't work or the paper towel dispenser and one of the toilet flushers was loose and had to be pumped to flush. No lighting around loo and shower doors so had to take phone torch at night. Codes for loo/showers too long especially as they're different. Taps on basin in shower bodged and barely hang over basin so you can't get a flannel/toothbrush under. The log burner in the yurt had been broken by previous occupants so we were given a small oil radiator which didn't keep the chill off during the night. Only 2 plug sockets. Noise from animal park

Liked Good facilities and shop on site. Hook up near to toilet and showers.

Disliked Nice cafe on site but not open until 11am and have to check out for 11. Would have been nice to have choice of visiting for breakfast

Disliked For the price disappointed to pay for shower, £6 for dog excessive, showers not clean on first night but fine next morning. Disappointed in tv reception and not getting access to wifi

Liked The yurt was spacious and had everything we needed. Very close to Bridlington town center and the John Bull rock factory.

Disliked The decking under the yurt was a bit uneven and felt like it could snap at anytime. Not much on the site for kids.

Liked Clean and easy close to Bridlington Town centre,if you drive

Disliked No where really fo food as shop opens late if you need breakfast and closes quite early so no late evening meals. If you have small children there's no play area or anything for them.

Liked The pitch size and location Plenty of hot water available.

Disliked Extra charges for everything dogs, awning, showers ….. never saw any staff on site and toilets not cleaned 🤢. No facility for recycling

Theme parks in the area include the knuckle-clenching rides and extensive zoo at Malton’s Flamingo Land, swashbuckling and raptor attacks at Ripon’s Lightwater Valley, and more birds of prey at Thirsk’s Sion Hill Hall.
