Fantastic site. Inform customers to mop up after they have showered.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Lovely, spacious, well kept site. Friendly reception and both young boys on bar were so polite and friendly. Site is well maintained.
Lovely, friendly ladies who maintained the shower/toilet cubicles.
Disliked Shower/toilet on campsite-
Were clean and had soap/hand-towels. However, toilet paper was constantly running out and shower flooding due to customers not mopping up after themselves, as mop and buckets are provided.
Perhaps worth letting customers know when they arrive at reception to mop after they shower. Sure they would if they knew.

Good lakeside views
Electric optional gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked - nice lakeside views from hard standing plots
- bar onsite, not overpriced
- 10 minutes to pubs, takeaway and shop.
Disliked - showers could do with more regular cleaning on such a busy site.
- shower temperature either boiling or freezing
- busy and a bit noisy, but in fairness we knew this would be the case when we booked.

Lovely place
Electric optional gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Loved the pitches and pub. Very good prices for drinks and children were never bored as they had the mini golf, park and the lake. Lovely place to visit at a good price!
Disliked The staff in the Bert’s restaurant had to be asked 5 times to bring a drink we ordered and we only got this by walking upto the bar ourselves. The enclosed dog field wasn’t fully secure as my dog got out due to the big gap under the gate. Luckily he ran back to the rest of our group. There were alot of spiders in the showers and muck on the floor but wouldn’t stop us visiting again as we had a lovely time and would deffo recommend
