Dacre Lakeside Park

A aimé Great flat pitch with plenty of space. Toilets clean and fairly modern. Activities such as play park, mini golf, football golf, and kayaking within 3 min walk. All staff were very pleasant too. The onsite pizza restaurant was fantastic. We will be back!

N'a pas aimé Minor, but could do with a small shelf in the toilets above the sink for toothbrush and toothpaste. The pedalo didn’t steer very well!

A aimé Dog parks were good as they were enclosed, they have mini golf and foot golf on site.

N'a pas aimé Didnt like the noise from bar area up to 12.30am, as our pitch was straight across from it, even though it was ment to be quite time after 11pm was told by a member of staff upon arrival (with it been a family site - site rules), staff werent bothered though and let it carry on till 12.30am when they decided to go home and leave site (they werent even staying there), someone also was using a circular saw at 12.30 am just before they all site, made me wonder if someone was pinching something, wasnt impressed. We ended our stay early and left.

A aimé Pitch sizes were large plenty of room for large tents and a game of rounders 🥰

Lake was perfect and reasonably priced if you have your own board but also you can rent them from the lake.

Crazy golf and foot golf again great courses fun for all the family and reasonable priced for a family of four.

Great enclosed dog park.

Icecream was beautiful.

N'a pas aimé Big holes in the ground all around pitches rabbit dropping everywhere.

Toilets could have been cleaned more regularly but it might have just been the times when I visited and would prefer a shower separate to the toilet or at least raised on a different level in the same area.

Would benefit from a small shop on site to sell bread milk ect.

A aimé So much to do, restaurant is excellent & the setting is just beautiful. Stayed two nights. Kids loved it!

N'a pas aimé First night was so quiet & shared the field with 2 other tents.

Second night was busy & invaded by footballing teenagers. No issue with that however they didn’t look after the toilets & showers as well as campers should. Within a few hours of their arrival the toilets were a mess, they quickly got muddy & we’re not treated with care. I know this isn’t the sites fault but more regular toilet checks & cleaning would have helped.

A aimé Toilet block clean and tidy. Staff were pleasant. Plenty to do for children (at a cost). Easy access. Will return...

N'a pas aimé Lots of deep rabbit holes dangerous for children especially at night. Didn't expect an additional charge for electric having book a pitch with electric!! Put £10 for 3 nights on a card. The meter had credit already on and we left it with £11.45 credit still on the meter.

A aimé Foot golf, Mini Golf, Lake and the pitching area brilliant, reasonably priced and plenty to do.

N'a pas aimé Music blaring from the outside the bar lasting until midnight when no one was outside listening to it.
