Mother and daughter Tina and Sophie welcome you to Brick Kiln. It has been our family home for over 30 years and in the family for three generations.

Brick Kiln is based on the outskirts of Campsea Ashe and Wickham Market. Our accommodation is set in unspoilt, quiet Suffolk countryside with 360-degree views over fields.

The one-acre grass hedged campsite may be off the beaten track, but we are centrally situated and within easy reach of the A12 taking you to famous Suffolk places: Woodbridge, Framlingham, Snape, Aldeburgh and Southwold to name but a few.

Camping wouldn't be camping without a good old campfire where you can toast your marshmallows and share tall tales. Wood and kindling is for sale on site for your convenience and for health and safety reasons.

Our converted stable block has a small kitchen area where you can wash up and have access to a fridge and freezer. Off the kitchen is the creative space where you can gather to play traditional board games, paint, eat, cook on the camp stove or browse our honesty shop.

The block also houses the campsite showers and toilets, with a family shower room.

There is no electrical hook-up here, just some plugs to charge your phones (if you need them) and boil a kettle. We also have a fridge and freezer (an extra charge will applied to plug in larger appliances). There is a gas camping stove available to boil water.

We look forward to welcoming you and hope you have a happy and comfortable stay with us at Brick Kiln.

Brick Kiln Farm is situated in a peaceful location on the edge of the village of Campsea Ashe, near Wickham Market, in Suffolk. We are one mile from the train station (named Wickham Market although it is in the centre of the village of Campsea Ashe). Daily trains run hourly to and from London. Tina would be delighted to organise collection/drop off to the station!

From the A12 south
Take the exit for B1078, then turn right at the top of the slip road. Take the immediate second left after the flyover. We are directly opposite the slip road on to the A12 south.

From the A12 north
Come off the A12 just after the Marlesford Farm Café. At the crossroads turn right and follow the lane to Brick Kiln. Or take the exit for the B1078, and turn right onto the lane next to the slip road, almost like a u-turn. Follow the lane to Brick Kiln.

Local attractions

A 10-minute walk from Brick Kiln Farm will bring you to the well-stocked village shop, and to The Dog and Duck, our local pub. They don’t serve food but if you fancy a tipple head there.

Campsea Ashe is also home to Wickham Market Railway station…confusing we know! But we are about a 15/20 minute walk from the station or a three-minute taxi ride.

Snape Maltings, Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Woodbridge, cafés, antique centres, Jimmy's Farm, Easton Farm Park, cinema, pubs, restaurants, and Walberswick for crabbing are also all within a short distance.

Please read the park terms and conditions below and the terms and conditions.

Additional terms

Dogs are welcome but you must clean up after your dog and they must be on leads at all times.

Children are welcome to use our play area. Parents must be responsible for their children and must supervise them at all times. We cannot take any responsibility for children on site.

There is no electrical hook-up here, just some plugs to charge your phones (if you need them) and to boil a kettle.

As Tina and Sophie are self-employed we can not always be on site, so we operate a self check-in system. If you arrive and no one is about, don't panic: here is what will help you settle in:

Park up in the field near the stables. There will be a pitch plan in the kitchen area: look for your name/group name. If you book a caravan Tina and Sophie will be in touch before arrival.

Wood and kindling is in the garage area; help yourself and make a note of what you have bought on your booking form. Barbecues are for hire in the garage area.

If you can identify a pitch with a 'scorch' mark where previous fires have been that would be very helpful to us.

Please feel free to use what you need to in the kitchen area: kettle, cups, utensils, hob, fridge, freezer, and sockets to charge your phone.

We ask all our guests to make themselves at home, so relax into country life.
