Absolutely recommend this site - a real sanctuary.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Wonderfully peaceful location up on a hillside, overlooking a small fishing lake. Immaculate pitches with picnic table, parasol and firepit supplied. (Firepit pack also supplied on request). Toilet and Shower facilities were well presented and very clean - as was the washing up area. They've thought of everything and I would definitely recommend and would come again.
Disliked The only reason I dropped a star from a 10 was the shower in the morning. The note said the temperature was set but it was cold when turned on so I had to adjust it and could then only get either boiling or cold. I may have mastered it had I stayed longer but it wouldn't put me off going again. The ONLY thing I could fault really.

From the manager: Thankyou for your review, Great to hear that you had a peaceful stay. Apologies you had a cold shower, we are going to look into upgrading them so you can adjust the temperature.
Recommended for low key camping.

Liked Friendly green site. The lady was very nice. Recommended.
Disliked The way in is unprepossessing but once you get past all the building work and machinery the field and pond are really attractive.

Lovely peaceful site with really clean facilities.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Spacious pitches that were easy to get to, were nicely spaced out. The campsite has some lovely views and the facilities were really clean. The girls loved watching the bats over the pond as the sun set.
Disliked Even though it’s only a small site, and extra toilet or two would be amazing (there are two) as a couple of times we had small children’s bladders that had to wait!

From the manager: Thank you for your kind comments—we’re so pleased you enjoyed the spacious pitches, views, and those sunset bat sightings!
We appreciate your feedback about the toilets. As a small site, space is limited so we’re not able to add more facilities, but we do our best to keep them clean and accessible for everyone. We hope to welcome you back again soon.

Electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Spacious pitch, toilets were very clean. Very pretty site. Pubs within walking distance.
Disliked No fault of the owners hence no mark down on the stars but the pitch next to us had 3 cars 2 tents and a bivvy set up after the owners had been round there was atleast 6 kids and 5 adults the kids kept taunting our dogs which was stressful for them.

From the manager: Thankyou for your feedback, our apologies to you regarding the camper next to you, we do allow more than one tent in a pitch but not 3 cars & 11 people 🙈
This is very rare on our site but if it does happen please feel free to ring us so we can sort it out.
