Highly recommended for a great camping trip whether couples or family
Electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked A lovely site and Sarah and Mike were great and very friendly. My husband and our Son really enjoyed fishing and had a good amount and good sizes.
The toilets and showers were very clean.
A nice quiet site and a lovely little walk through the woods for our dog. Nice little set up for kids too - mud kitchen, fairy garden, toys etc (though our son is too old for all that now being a teenager!) but all very well thought out.
A nice washing up area with everything you need.
So lovely listening to all the birds singing too. Lovely rolling hills and scenery in Suffolk.
We would definitely go back although our dog doesn't seem to like camping - she's an anxious collie and doesn't like plane noise which isn't great when she can't hide from it. Our 2nd camping trip with her and she's a stressed wreck when planes go over, which is awful for her! 😩
Disliked The shower door in the bigger bathroom doesn't stay shut. It's a sliding door but being a double shower you can stand down the other end and change the direction of the shower head. I'm sure Sarah and Mike are aware, but it could be a floor issue and perhaps not level, so a difficult one to resolve. I meant to mention it while we were there but I forgot.

From the manager: Thank you for your lovely review and great photos. We’re really pleased you enjoyed your stay, especially the fishing, peaceful surroundings and facilities.
Thank you also for mentioning the shower door. We haven’t actually used that shower ourselves since the new screen was installed, so we weren’t aware that it wasn’t staying shut. We’ll definitely look into it and get it sorted.
We’d love to welcome you all back again – We had another camper mention to us how polite your son was, hopefully your lovely collie might find camping a little more relaxing next time! 🐾😊

Overall a great stay, well worth the money!
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely campsite, small and family friendly. Clean showers and toilets, a wash up area full of tea towels and soap, beautiful surrounding areas with walks across fields, and even lovely additions for children (mud kitchen, toys, a tick sheet, fairy doors and a woodland trail). Close enough to all needed amenities by car and a pub not too far away! Loved the additional benches and fire pits free of charge on each pitch, with your own fishing area to call your own. So tranquil and calm, a very well thought out site.
Disliked Slight hill for pitching (can’t be helped and didn’t affect our stay). Taking our rubbish away with us.

From the manager: Thankyou for your review, great to hear you enjoyed the site and surrounding areas. It’s good to have feedback on the facilities we provide for the children to enjoy.
Unfortunately we have had to introduce new waste rules due to changes in collections from our local council. We do still accept food waste, glass and dog waste.
Look forward to welcoming you back.
Beautiful quiet and tranquil site
Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Quite not busy. Even if full, low capacity
Lovely showers with floor rack and shelves
Pitch dividers to aid setting up boundaries
Fishing lake (although water level low in summer 2026)
Very clean facilities
New washing sponges and tea towels provided daily
Lovely owner who spoke to us on arrival and on departure
Disliked Nothing

Nice little camp site with great…
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Nice little camp site with great facilities and friendly owners. So good that you can pitch up so close to the lake for a spot of fishing. Toilets and showers up there with the cleanest I’ve seen anywhere. Firepit fuel available at cost from campsite, nice and easy. You can also park car near pitch which is great, with further parking a short walk (literally a few steps) away. A vibrant pub in the village just a short walk away, so the best of both worlds. Highly recommend.

Liked Travelled for a weekends camping with my young son. Lovely clean site and very quiet. Loved having our own picnic bench and the fishing kept us very entertained. Remote even to be peaceful but close enough to towns that you can easily grab something
