  • Well-maintained touring site on the edge of Halesworth in Suffolk
  • Southwold 20 minutes’ drive and historic Aldeburgh 40 minutes
  • Fully serviced pitches set among greenery; farm shop and garden centre
'Neat as a pin' is a good description of The Beeches Touring Park, a very well-kept Suffolk site on the outskirts of Halesworth. It’s a peaceful, dog-friendly spot set in lots of greenery, and also a handy adults-only base for exploring east-coast beaches, the lively coastal town of Southwold (20 minutes’ drive) and cultured Aldeburgh (40 minutes). All the spacious and fully serviced pitches are marked out by neat hedgerows and backed by trees. There’s a grey water drain at the back of the pitches, along with waste disposal points, recycling facilities, fresh water taps and hook-ups for your TVs and wifi. The market town of Halesworth (five minutes’ drive to the centre) is the go-to place for picking up supplies for your barbecue, chilling out with a pint in a pub or dining out in one of the restaurants. A bus stop with a direct 20-minute route to Southwold is also handily only five minutes' walk away from the site. While you're here, don't forget to have a wander around the on-site farm shop and garden centre. The farm shop has a splendid selection of fresh and good-quality local produce suitable for your barbecue. Meanwhile, the garden centre is stocked with healthy plants and also has a pet shop selling treats, food and even beds for your four-legged companions. Any questions? There’s a warden on site between the hours of 9am and 5pm seven days a week.

What customers say

This is a highly recommended, immaculately clean, and well-maintained site with spacious, flat, fully serviced pitches. Visitors praised the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the adjacent farm and garden centre. While the site currently lacks toilet and shower facilities, these are under construction and expected soon. Some guests found it pricey given the absence of these amenities, and one noted a lack of nearby walks. Aerial leads are recommended for TV.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch (large)

Liked Lovely clean and tidy site with spacious well set out pitches. Neil the owner very friendly. Great field for exercising the dogs. Good location for exploring the area, especially the various coastal resorts.

They are busy building a shower and toilet block which will enhance the site even more.

Nice garden centre with a well stocked farm shop next door.

Disliked Nothing to dislike.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch (large)

Liked Spacious fully serviced pitch, super neat and clean site. Warm welcome on arrival. Large field (not secured currently) for on lead dog exercise time whilst n site. Good WiFi. Some noise from road and rail, but minimal and not intrusive. Excellent farm shop next door, with everything you'll ever need. Short 15 min walk to local high street, with cute coffee shops, antique stores and good vibes. Abundance of country pubs within minutes drive, and do check out the local vinyards. Great short break, we will return

Disliked As at April 2026 no bathroom facilities, but I understand they're being built currently. It's a little pricey considering no bathrooms, so I wonder if the price will increase when they become available.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch (large)

Liked Spacious pitches and very, very tidy site.
Adults only.
Loved the fully serviced pitch. Water, electricity and TV socket.
Wi-Fi on site is free and an excellent signal.
Neil and Charlie both very nice people. Neil pointed us in the right direction to walk into the town of Halesworth and even advised on the best pubs (there's four).
There's a garden centre on site which has a comprehensively stocked shop for food and drink.

Disliked Noisy gravel.
Pitches are flat but not level, so levelling blocks needed.
Dog friendly site. many noisy barking dogs.
Toilet block is still unfinished but will be a great asset when opened.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch (large)

Liked our pitch was very spacious as we have a large motorhome. The pitches were excellent and obviously new but very well laid out. This site is still in production as there are no toilets or showers, hence the 8 star. Once the toilet/shower block is complete (it is in the process of being completed at the moment) this site will get a 10 star. Great having an onsite shop and garden centre. Some good planning has gone into this beautiful camp.

Disliked we were happy with out pitch and its location so no dislikes.

Local attractions

Your Suffolk exploring might begin at Southwold (20 minutes’ drive), where you can stroll down the historic pier, soak up some rays on the beach and climb to the top of the landmark lighthouse to see the town and coastline from a new perspective – there are lots of arty shop to discover as well. Catch Aldeburgh (40 minutes) in June for its renowned music festival; visit anytime to admire the pastel-coloured houses along its seafront and browse upmarket stores. Backed by cliffs, Covehithe Beach (25 minutes) is the spot for romantic strolls, and you have a choice of walks and bike rides in the scenic Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Landscape. The golfers among you can practise your swing on several courses within 20 minutes’ drive of your home base. Turning inland, pretty Beccles (25 minutes) is gateway to cruises, kayaking and paddleboarding expeditions along the River Waveney, and boating trips into the southern Broads. There’s also a popular lido for outdoor dips in summer.
