Liked Perfect for a getaway from life in general! We stayed here for a week and genuinely couldn’t fault a thing. The site is beautiful, with lovely little walks around the area — perfect for taking the dog out and enjoying the surroundings. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better.
We’ll definitely be coming back for our short breaks away from our busy working lives. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and unwind.
One thing we always worry about when booking somewhere is phone signal and Wi-Fi, as we still like to listen to music and watch TV to fully switch off. Thankfully, there were no issues at all here — the phone signal was 100%
Disliked Nothing to dislike

Electric grass and earth pitch
Liked Lovely quiet little campsite. Electric and water on pitch is great. We had a lovely walk along the river and plenty of space for the children to roam.
The showers/toilet block was really clean and fresh.
Disliked There are only 2 shower/toilet blocks
There was no hot water in the washing up station
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Hot water is available from the sink in the toilets as these are heated. Hot water outside doesn't work on a site that is open all year around as it would freeze .
OK as a base to sleep, but for anything more, go watch the planes.
Electric grass and earth pitch
Liked Quiet, level pitch. 16a supply and water to the pitch...a bonus in March.
Disliked Not really a dislike, but we were the only tourists...the other 5 or 6 units seemed permanent, although touring type caravans. Wi-fi existed but only close to the owners house, not on the site.
Despite signs in the toilets saying 'pick-up after your dog', there was dogshit everywhere...one even did its stuff less than 2' from our awning. Nice, when you want to fold it up. We didn't see, but I suspect the owners dogs, allowed to roam anywhere and poo where they like.

From the manager: we do not advertise that there is Wifi.
Apologies for the dog poop i do a walk around everyday as we also get foxes in but obviously missed these. :-(
Nice stay in the Suffolk Sunshine
Electric grass and earth pitch
Liked Small site, friendly owner.
Disliked Air base noise was louder than expected and busier than normal due to Iran war. Bathrooms need some TLC. Could benefit from separate toilet and shower facilities, rather than all in one room.
