Experience the stunning Suffolk countryside up close with a stay at the Brighthouse Farm Caravan and Camping site. Our six-acre campsite is flat and grassy with non-regimented pitches to allow campers to pitch easily and comfortably. We have been happily accepting guests since 1986. We have mature and newly planted trees throughout the site as well as some wonderful panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. We keep our site well maintained with neat and tidy grass. We have created walks from the campsite to the main village – giving campers easy access to the village pub, serving great food and guest ales. There is also a 1.5-mile farm walk which is exclusive to our guests. There are two further pubs both offering excellent food in the neighbouring villages of Shimpling & Hartest. In our neighbouring village of Hawstead is Maglio Rosso, where guests can hire cycles to explore the stunning undulating Suffolk scenery. We are situated equidistance between Bury St. Edmunds & Sudbury (approx 8 Miles) and the historical villages of Long Melford and Lavenham. Campsite facilities Separate toilet blocks for men and women Three lockable unisex combination units comprising shower, wash basin and toilet Four large lockable ‘walk-in’ style showers – separate for men and women Five stand pipes for water supply Chemical waste disposal point Washing up area. Campfires are allowed as long as they a well off the ground and used / emptied responsibly. Please note, pets are welcome!
