  • Small family-friendly Norfolk site close to the Broads and the coast
  • Eccles-on-Sea beach five minutes’ drive and Wroxham 25 minutes
  • Accessible pitches; pub 10 minutes’ walk; shops 10 minutes’ drive
Tucked away in gorgeous Norfolk countryside, just five minutes by car from the golden sands of Eccles-on-Sea, Honeybee Camping is a small, friendly and family-run campsite within easy reach of villages like Potter Heigham (15 minutes’ drive) and Wroxham (25 minutes), both considered gateways to the myriad attractions of the Broads National Park. Accessibility is at the heart of this site’s layout; the camping meadow is nicely flat with no unexpected bumps or slopes, the Elsan point and water taps are raised to make them easier to use, and there is accessible parking too. For anyone keen to get down to the sea, an easy route runs along footpaths from the site entrance to the beach at Eccles-on-Sea in about 20 minutes. The local town of Stalham (10 minutes) has a traditional greengrocer, bakery, butcher and deli as well as a supermarket and petrol station – and if you fancy a day off from cooking, there are several cafés and pubs too. You can also reach the local pub at Lessingham in about 10 minutes’ walk on quiet country lanes. In short, pretty much everything you need is close at hand, so you can get on with the business of unwinding and enjoying the simple joys of camping: fresh mornings, big skies, the sea close by, country rambles and evenings under the stars.

Electric optional grass pitch

Liked Great site with friendly owner KT always happy and checking if everything is ok this is site run by KT and you can tell her enthusiasm for this site is about making us campers have the best time .Pitch areas are very generous allowing lots of room and facilities were spotlessly clean. This is a new site and bits are being added with some great ideas going forward but that does not mean the site isn't camper ready by any means we had a fantastic time there.
Overall it is a quite site run by a friendly chilled Lady who has the passion to make it a resounding success and would definitely stay here again thank you KT for a great week♥️

Route directions

Please don’t follow satnav for the final approach, some of the roads are unsuitable for caravans. Coming from Wroxham or Great Yarmouth, leave the A149 at the Stalham exit and follow Market Road. Turn left at the mini-roundabout, and immediately right at the next mini-roundabout onto Ingham Road. Carry on until The Ingham Swan. The road has a sharp left bend in front of the pub, followed by a sharp right. Take the sharp right bend onto Palling Road towards Sea Palling, and turn left onto Water Lane to reach Ingham Corner. From there, follow Ingham Road into Lessingham. After about a mile, turn right into Heath Road, which bends left and then reaches a right-hand turn. On the turn, bear left to the farm. The site entrance is on the left after about 50 yards.
