What customers say
A peaceful, well-maintained campsite offering a back-to-basics experience with beautiful rural views. Pitches are spacious and private, with many appreciating the addition of picnic tables and fire pits. The composting toilet is consistently described as clean and adequate for a short stay, though some note the absence of showers. Wildlife is abundant, and the location is convenient for exploring Wells-next-the-Sea and surrounding areas. A notable, recurring mention is the early morning noise from cockerels.

Basic site. Nice position & good sized level pitches.
Silkie non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Separate pitches. Lovely view across fields. Peaceful.
Disliked Unfortunately a group of thoughtless young people had a loud party into the early hours which spoilt things for others. Not the site's fault but to be noted.

Liked Scenery is fantastic. Beautiful fields annd forest either side and on the walk to the camp with plenty of fluffy fields of golden wheat. Small and intimate campsite with lots of wildlife.
Services were basic but sufficient. The firepits were a fantastic addition!
Disliked Some noise from cockerels nearby at 4am, so earplugs recommended if easily woken.

Bantam electric grass touring pitch
Liked Peaceful and pretty location with plenty of wildlife on view (Red Kites, Muntjak deer, free to roam chickens).
Adequate pitch space with very friendly campers on site. We would of definately spent another night here if it had been available.
Good location to visit other places of interest. Able to walk our dog nearby.
Disliked We have a campervan but did not require electricity. We would have loved to camp at the far end of the site where the tents were rather than on an electric motor home pitch. No washing facilities of any kind.
